Before I get back to work editing, I just had to mention the wonderful way I spent procrastinating this morning. I added the iPublish widget to my website page for Darkness and the Devil Behind Me. Through this gadget, visitors can browse my book online as well as purchase it. It’s a fantastic widget and guess what? iPublish makes it available for free!
The second addition I made was to add a map page, showing locations mentioned in Harlem Redux and Darkness and the Devil Behind Me. What locations? Oh, simple stuff, like where the characters live and work, where significant events take place. I did it through Google maps. The nice thing is I can simply go to the page at Google maps and update it any time without having to edit my website. The updates made at Google maps show up automatically.
Ah … That was fun.
