Reality Hits: I'm With the Spitzer Agency!

It’s official. I’m with the Philip G. Spitzer Literary Agency, the same folks who represent Michael Connelly, James Lee Burke, Alafair Burke, Jonathon King, Michelle Gagnon and a host of other incredibly talented writers.

Philip and his right-hand man, Lukas Ortiz, took me on back in spring, but for some reason, it didn’t feel “real,” that is until yesterday. That’s when a friend, Catherine Maiorisi, saw that the agency had updated its page at Publisher’s Marketplace. The agency’s roster of “leading clients” now includes yours truly. Today, I checked the agency’s website and my name is really there.

It’s hard to express my joy and shock at seeing my name sharing the same page with so many accomplished and notable writers. I’m such a fan of these guys.

I’m gushing, I know. I’m blowing my New York cool, but I don’t care. In a word, wow!
