On the Road Again

Looks like we’re moving to Huntington Beach today. Stefano rented an AirBnB. Still in Newport Beach. Tyler and Stefano considered going back to Santa Monica, but an email from Augie’s pediatrician convinced them otherwise. The email highlighted the dangers from toxic air conditions, especially for young children. That, and reports of stronger winds that could change direction at any time, were the deciding factors.

In addition, I think the kids are thinking about leaving for Italy sooner than initially planned. It gives them less time to get organized, but they desperately need to get settled with the new baby.

We’re all aware of being enormously blessed, however. I think of families who’ve been driven to flee war, who really have nothing, or who lost everything in the flames, or who lost a loved one … We’re really happy with each other.
